FAQ

Is this quotation maker free?

Yes, with no sign-up. Nothing you type is sent or stored, so reloading clears the form.

Does a quotation need GST on it?

GST law sets no content for a quotation [6][8]. Show GST if you are registered; composition and unregistered sellers cannot collect it [6].

How does it choose CGST and SGST or IGST?

It gives CGST and SGST when your state is the place of supply, and IGST for another state or an SEZ buyer [2].

How do I save the quotation as a PDF?

Click "Print or save as PDF", then choose Save as PDF in the print window. On a phone, use Share in the print preview.

Can I make a quotation for export?

Yes. Switch to Export for a currency, an Incoterms 2020 rule, HS codes and your IEC. It adds no GST, because exports are zero-rated [2][9].
