How Autobot keeps your data safe
Autobot works inside your email, WhatsApp and files. Here is what it can see, where your data goes, and what it never does.

Every customer's Autobot runs on its own computer.

Its own computer
Every customer's Autobot runs on its own cloud computer, separate from everyone else's.
What it works with stays on that computer: the files you send it, what it remembers about you, the jobs you schedule and the websites you've signed in to.
Your chats are also saved to your account, so they show up on your phone and your laptop.

Your passwords
When a website needs you to sign in, Autobot hands you the page. You type your password or OTP yourself, and Autobot carries on once you're in.
It stays signed in to that site for you. It doesn't keep your password.
You sign in to Autobot itself with Google, Apple or a code sent to your email, so we never see a password there either.

In chat, Autobot waits for your OK before it sends a message, posts publicly, invites someone, or pays or orders through an app you've connected.
You see what will go out and who it goes to, and you can change it first.
Jobs you schedule run on their own, because you set them up ahead of time.

Gmail, Google Sheets and your other apps connect through their own sign-in page.
The access you give is held by the company that runs our app connections, not in our database.
Remove an app in Settings and Autobot's access ends straight away.

WhatsApp for your business
When customers message your WhatsApp number, a separate customer assistant replies to them.
It can read only what you choose to share, like your price list, and it can't change anything in your apps. Your email, your other files and your own chats with Autobot stay out of its reach.
Messages go through WhatsApp's official Business API. Anyone who replies STOP stops getting your broadcasts.
Where your words go
When you send Autobot a message, it goes from your app to our server, then to your Autobot's computer, and then to an AI company that writes the reply.
Your data is encrypted on the way, and encrypted where it's stored: on your Autobot's computer and on our servers.
Every AI company we use has zero data retention. They don't store what Autobot sends them or what they send back, and they don't train on it.

If you connect your own ChatGPT or Claude plan, those chats go to that company under your plan's own terms.
Who can see your data
Nobody at Convogenie reads your chats, files or apps unless you ask us to, we need to fix a problem, or you report a reply. Only the people who run Autobot can get into our systems.
We don't sell your data, and we don't show you ads.

Calls aren't recorded
When someone calls your Autobot number, the call isn't recorded. We keep the transcript and a short summary, so you can ask Autobot what the caller wanted.

Your voice becomes text
When you talk to Autobot in the app, only the text of what you said is kept.

We never see your card
Apple, Google or our payment partner takes your payment. We never see your card or UPI details.
Deleting your account
Settings → Delete account removes your Autobot's computer, your chats and your app connections straight away.
Copies in our backups are gone within 7 days.

Questions people ask
Is it safe to connect Gmail to Autobot?
Gmail connects through Google's own sign-in page, and in chat Autobot asks before it sends an email. You can remove its access any time in Settings.
Can Autobot see my passwords?
No. When a website needs a password or OTP, you type it yourself. Autobot stays signed in to that site but doesn't keep the password.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. It's encrypted on the way between your app, our server, your Autobot's computer and the AI company, and encrypted where it's stored.
Does Autobot use my data to train AI?
No. We don't train AI on your data, and every AI company we use has zero data retention, so they don't keep it or train on it.
Can Autobot send messages without asking me?
In chat, no. It waits for your OK before it sends a message, posts publicly, invites someone, or pays or orders through an app you've connected. Jobs you schedule run on their own, because you set them up.
Who at Convogenie can read my chats?
Nobody, unless you ask us to, we need to fix a problem, or you report a reply.
Can my WhatsApp customers see my other data?
No. They talk to a separate customer assistant that can read only what you choose to share with it.
What happens to my data when I delete my account?
Your Autobot's computer, your chats and your app connections are deleted straight away. Copies in our backups are gone within 7 days.
