FAQ
Is a salary slip from this generator valid?
It carries the fields of Form V, the wage slip in the Central Rules [1]. Under a State government, also check your state's rules [2].
How does it work out PF?
PF is 12% of wages: the lines you tick, never less than half of gross pay [3]. It stops at the ₹25,000 wage ceiling unless you pick the written joint option [4][5].
How does it decide whether ESI applies?
It compares a full month's wages, not gross pay, with the ₹21,000 limit, as ESIC told its offices in December 2025 to use the new wage definition [7][8]. If someone crossed it after an April or October period began, choose Always deduct until the period ends [9].
Is my data saved or sent anywhere?
No. Nothing you type is sent or stored. Analytics counts only visits and print clicks. Reloading clears the form, so save the PDF.
What do I enter for professional tax and TDS?
Add each as a deduction line. The generator does not work them out. Our guide has the Karnataka and Maharashtra slabs and a worked TDS example.
